This self-titled album by Outer Space Alliance saw first light as a promotional CD-R. Songs were written for it between 1999-2000 and the album was first released in late 2000. During spring 2001, "Comfortably Numb" got selected for "Reader Demo of the Month" in April issue of Future Music magazine.

Boosted by this appearance, O.S.A. gained some footing in the finnish ambient / experimental electronic music scene, and then went on to perform some live sets during late 2001. Unfortunately, the most notable of these gigs, Koneisto 2001 festival in Turku, saw the band getting cancelled at very last minute, for reasons beyond the band.

This remastered version of the album was published by Holy Feather in 2009. Compared to the original Promo-CDR, the song order was shuffled to improve continuity through the album. One song was removed and another added.

All songs were remastered using original stem recordings. Few of the songs, like "Comfortably Numb", were re-recorded and written to include more live playing than on the original Promo-CDR release.
